Villagers of the Sevvanthivu in Puttalam district worked together to construct a community Centre utilizing the resources available in their surroundings. This facility will be used for meetings, gatherings and to conduct evening classes for their children.
Dimuthu foundation formed a women’s group three years ago in this village and presently they are actively involved in their community development activities.
As a part of its commitment towards underprivileged children, Dimuthu foundation provided bicycles to the students from vulnerable families to go to school. At this point, five students had the opportunity to receive the bicycles.
