“Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God”
During the early 2000, in a very simple manner, Rev. Fr. Jude Nicholas Fernando, established Dimuthu Foundation for the betterment of marginalized families especially their children to seek integral development.
Dimuthu Foundation from its inception applies the right based approach to secure the dignity of person and ensure minimum standard of living for the marginalized rural, vulnerable and disadvantaged communities very specially focusing on children.
Through the enormous services of Dimuthu Foundation for last 20 years, it expresses its commitment to uplift the needy and the marginalized, to create awareness for their self-improvement, to promote peace and harmony by fostering a deep spirituality among the different groups and to reach out with help providing services in times of disaster and emergencies.
Dimuthu foundation also shows special concern towards the safety and total wellbeing of children through its activities related with the child development and protection.
