Children Integral Development

Our child-focused programmes focus on children’s education, health, nutrition, rights and protection. Most of our community development programmes pay attention towards the development of underprivileged children in the target villages encouraging them on formal education. Both boys and girls are accommodated into the integral formation programmes irrespective of their ethnic or religious backgrounds.

Contents of integral formation sessions

  •  Alphabetization of children (teaching them how to read and write)
  • Improving basic manners such as punctuality, cleanliness, orderliness etc.
  • Discipline and character formation
  • Constructive use of Mass media and social media
  • Basic knowledge on first and second languages
  • Community activities – indoor and outdoor games
  • Religious activities and spiritual formation
  • Nutrition and health care of the children
  • Involve in home gardening, plant nursery, traditional crops and methods
  • Training on resource management – Savings, saving available resources

Non-school going (dropouts/never gone) children from socially economically shattered families are reached for the aforementioned integral formation sessions. Mainly the orphans who lost their parents and children of widows, single mothers, divorced mothers and single parents are catered into the programme strategy. Social integration, protection and psychosocial wellbeing of these children and their family members addressed through each programme.
