A marketing facility (a sales outlet) for the products of Dimuthu CBO members will be built at the premises (facing Colombo Puttalam Road) of Dimuthu foundation. This sales center will strengthen the CBO members to increase their productivity, sustainable and contribute to the economic development of their community
We strongly believe that this will also promote the habit of home gardening among the community in order to conserve the environment and eventually reduce the global warming. Eventually, it will encourage the family members and the community to produce and to consume healthy food and enjoy a happy life.
The following items will be sold at a reasonable rate according to the market situation and supply
- Organic fertilizer, seeds, plants, home gardening tools
- CBO products – dry fish, cashew nut, tamarind, handlooms, carpets, ekel/fiber broom
- Short eats, string hoppers, fruits
- Carpentry products, readymade garments
- Tailoring of female garments for the area people
